Pre-Purchase (Buyer's) Home Inspections from Daylight Home Inspection

Pre-Purchase (Buyer's) Home Inspection

Purchasing a new home also means buying that home's problems. With a pre-purchase home inspection you can see exactly what you're buying. Problems discovered during the inspection could allow you to renegotiate to offset the costs of repairs — potentially saving you thousands of dollars. We'll even help you become familiar with the property.

Pre-Listing (Seller's) Home Inspections from Daylight Home Inspection

Pre-Listing (Seller's) Home Inspection

Sometimes selling your home can be just as much of a roller coaster as buying one. Getting a pre-listing home inspection can help ensure a quick and smooth transaction. You can enter the selling process with confidence that there won't be any nasty surprises. You'll also avoid delays, which could last for weeks or even months.

Home maintenance inspections from Daylight Home Inspection

Home Maintenance Inspections

An annual home maintenance inspection will help to identify potential problems before they can become major financial or safety issues. With a trained eye, we know where and how to look for problems that might go unnoticed for years. A home maintenance inspection covers common problem areas including the roof and attic, basement and foundation, grading and drainage, electrical systems, water heating systems, and much more.

FAA certified drone inspection services from Daylight Home Inspection

FAA Certified Drone Inspections

We're licensed (FAA 107 UAS) to operate remote-controlled drones, allowing us to get a better look at certain hard-to-reach areas of your home, particularly the roof. Using an aerial vehicle with a camera gives us a much better view than with a ladder, and from multiple angles. All while keeping your roof safe from any accidental damage.

Thermal imaging home inspection services from Daylight Home Inspection

Thermal Imaging

A home inspection is limited to what the inspector can see. Thermal imaging (infrared) gives us a whole new way of seeing, and can detect problems that are invisible using more conventional methods. Thermal imaging is great for detecting moisture issues, electrical problems, and even areas where energy loss is occurring.

Radon testing services from Daylight Home Inspection

Testing for Radon Gas

Radon is a naturally produced, radioactive gas — and the second leading cause of lung cancer, behind cigarettes. Radon gas can enter your home through the foundation and collect in the basement. A radon test will help to protect your family by checking for hazardous concentrations. If levels are too high, then a radon mitigation system should be installed.

Pre-Drywall Home Inspections from Daylight Home Inspection

Pre-Drywall Inspections

A pre-drywall inspection is a great tool to ensure that your home is built to its specifications. During this phase of construction, many important items have been put in place — such as the structure, doors, windows, roof components, etc — but have not yet been obscured by drywall. Issues discovered at this phase are often easier and less expensive to correct than if they were discovered later on.

Termite and wood destroying organisim (WDI) inspection services from Daylight Home Inspection

Pest Inspections

Commonly referred to as a pest inspection, Wood Destroying Organism (WDI) inspections look for more than just termites, including wood boring beetles and wood destroying fungus. Termites alone cause billions of dollars in property damage every year in the United States. Because they can be difficult to detect, a properly trained inspector is necessary to check for the presence of any WDIs in your home. Pest inspections are performed by a qualified third party.

Every inspection we do will receive a report from recall check on their major appliances. Recallchek is the first service for consumer recalls in the United States and has compiled over 205 million recalls from public records to create a failsafe system to check for dangerous flaws with home appliances.

90-Day Warranty

Every inspection receives a 90 day limited mechanical and structural warranty. This warranty is valid 90 days from the date of inspection for 22 days after closing, whichever comes later. This warranty covers repairs to items the home inspector has found to be in good working condition at the time of inspection and are specifically listed within our warranty. Claims will be handled within 72 hours of submission.
